| CONTROL SYSTEM PILOT Control system PILOT is a product developed for easier and faster handling of 3D machines COMAGRAV. PILOT is not only a software, but also new microprocessor electronic. PILOT was made for Windows 2000/XP operating systems and replaces MS-DOS based CFP. Basic function of the PILOT is to convert toolpath data into instruction set for motors of the machine. User makes all settings and adjustments in comfortable environment of Windows. New control algorythm of stepping motors and presence of one powerful microprocessor for each axis (X,Y,Z) makes reasonable increase of engraving speed and fluency.
- imports G-code files for 3D engraving and milling - imports HPGL and DXF (lines) files for 2D engraving, routing and cutting - works under Windows 2000 or XP - real time display of status, time, depth, pass, tool, speed,... - displays the toolpath in 2D or 3D - saves all parameters of the toolpath for next use (also after switching the power supply off is possible to continue engraving the job) - displays size of application in mm and in number of commands - displays number of commands already made - user can start the job from any command (i.e. after breaking the cutter) - displays starting position and actual position of axes - matrix function for engraving in series (HPGL+DXF) - TEACH-IN function for free 3D toolpathes with following edit possibility - allows user to set compensation of axes, when needed - motion of machine is maximally fluent and fast - multipass engraving - double engraving (both directions) - first pass and last pass different - up to 8 tools in one toolpath with different settings of parameters - three ways to set the startpoint of the job - possibility to engrave only selected tools - 4 speeds of manual movement for setting startpoint and TEACH-IN - allows user settings (dynamics, speed optimization, spindle delay, Z sensor thickness, compensation, etc.) - spindle ON/OFF possibility (usable for diamond dragging) - internal buffer for 2044 commands with fluent filling - 4 microprocessors control electronics - integrated control of spindle speed - integrated powerful XYZ microstepping drives |
